When I was in high school my parents had me in a military school after a while I made very good friends, They all owned large coffee farms and other cattle, My father had a very large farm and I had to work very hard, He would tell me sometimes take the house clean and mop and wish him I will not sweep because you have many people on the farm they should do those things. When I finished my high school I decided to come to the New York city there it was very difficult. I did not know anyone and my first job was at supermarket and I had to sweep and mop that was very strong inside me because I thought my father never wanted to clean him in his farm and here devour to do it for someone who does not know just for a little money that was my great school in life I worked 90 or 110 hours a week and I could never pay everything because I did not earn much I always asked God that I should have better opportunities in my life,I missed those friends where we spent weekends on farms, with my life in New York was just work and live in a Room with my best friend who never liked New York city he left to France and lives be there.
Hi Carlos- That sounds like it was a hard life working so many hours and not even getting paid enough to pay bills. New York City is also a VERY expensive place to live. Sometimes we don’t realize how much we love home until we leave it. I think everyone should experience leaving home at some point in their life- it makes you appreciate what you have so much more.
